Physiology (2 semesters) is part of the basic courses for the Master's degree programme in General Medicine.
Students are introduced to the function and regulatory mechanisms of the human body, organs and their parts in health, with a view to understanding the basis of dysfunction in disease.
The key information for teaching physiology (syllabus, study literature, exam questions, list of lectures and exercises, exam dates) is in the Study Information System (SIS) of Charles University (where the course number is DA1103337).
Credit requirements and more detailed information on individual topics are in Moodle.
We also use the MS Teams environment for support.
Video recordings of our lectures (from the Covid era) and other teaching materials, as well as several online computer programmes, are available here.
